Our custom built Belantara stretches 19.2 meters long (63’) and 4 meters wide (13’2”) and is constructed from hull to deck with 100% Ulin (Bornean ironwood). We personally designed her as our mobile home on the river with an unpretentious luxury tailored to meet essential needs, our personal taste, and a high standard of quality, hence providing an unmatched level of comfort, hygiene and security.

First and foremost, our personal hygiene requires a modern fully functioning western toilet and heated shower; as well as abundant supply of fresh clean tap water running for all uses from shower to kitchen operations.

You’ll find the guest quarters on the main deck boasting a 360 degree view; furnished with dining table, hammocks, daybeds, loungers and reclining chairs - all fully upholstered with Sunbrella.

The front, back and upper deck are the ultimate places to absorb the view and observe the endemic wildlife and vegetation along the river. Enjoy sights such as wild orangutans, families of proboscis monkeys, long-tailed macaques, crocodiles, monitor lizards, hornbills, kingfishers, and other elusive birds while relaxing with your friends and family during sunsets or enjoying dinner accompanied by a firefly backdrop.

Come evening, our crew will convert the living area into a comfortable sleeping area with spring mattresses, pillows, high quality linens, as well as a mosquito drape net. You will always be warm under the blankets during chilly nights and sheltered by roll down blinds during any rainfalls.

Awaken to misty mornings with a full chorus of nature singing in your ears, while our highly praised cook prepares unrivaled, delicious Indonesian snacks and dishes in the kitchen freshly made from scratch.
